Mother's Day Breakfast-Whole Grain Pancakes with Wild Blueberry Syrup


In this post, I felt it appropriate to let my children do the writing. I dug through 14 years worth of art projects and report cards to find two Mother’s Day presents/cards that touched my heart above the rest.

These pancakes were featured on epicurious.com and use a whole grain pancake mix for its base. It’s doctored up with wonderful additions like cinnamon, buttermilk and blueberries. I believe they’re easy enough for dads and kids to make, and if you’re lucky you’ll eat them in bed. I’ve also included a link to a quick and cheap latte to accompany your breakfast.
